Specialist 4th Class Jerry Mays spent several months of his tour on FSB Hill 4-11, from December of 1969 to September of 1970. He was with HHC Company, 3rd/1st. He ran the generators and took care of several trucks that were used on the hill. They used to call him LiL' Abner.
