Obituary

Dale G. Arnos, 63, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Parkview Hospital. Born in Allen County, he was a member and Trustee of Taylor Chapel U.M.C. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star; and retired from the Department of Defense. He was a member of American Legion Post 297, Paulding, Ohio.

"One of God's willing workers, who used his whole being to glorify God through his service."

Surviving are his wife, Doris; children, Pamela Conrad of Fort Wayne, Todd Arnos of Huntertown, Barbara (Neal) Thompson of Mahomet, Ill., and Angela Osborn of Bluffton; grandchildren, Eric Conrad, RaeNell Arnos, Alexis Thomason, Ashley Thomason, Peyton Thompson, Michael Bender, Logan Osborn, and Dylan Osborn; brother, Robert (Betty) Arnos; sister, Elizabeth (Gilbert) Hoffman; brother, Dave (Lelia) Arnos; and sister, Lois Arnos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Cecelia; brother, Gary; and children, William, Beth and Chris Lothamer.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, 10145 Maysville Road, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to Henderson Settlement, Frakes, Ky. and Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.
