James Hollerman was from Opa Locka, Miami-Dade, FL. He died from a heart attack following open heart surgey. (SS # 262-66-5092)
As memory of that time fades, "Big Jim" is one of a handful of guys that I will always remember. He was a fine soldier, a good buddy, and an all around great guy who loved the Vietnamese children. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
