Here are four of the Montagnard children on OP1.  John's mother took clothing collections at her church, and she sent clothes to the Montagnard children on OP1.

Here is a Hoi Chanh nurse who "Chieu Hoied" (came over to our side from the NVA/VC) and lived on OP1.  SFC Boyette (with sunglasses) just came back from a hospital in Hawaii.  He was wounded on Radar Hill before John's unit moved to OP1.

On this day, the "company" of Montagnards on OP1 were replaced by another "company" of Montagnards, from different families of the same tribe.  It was interesting that the Montagnards were supplied with rice produced in Louisiana.
