My Remembrance of Larry

by Charles Mankin

I served with Larry Whitt in B/3/1 (3rd Platoon) from 69 to 70.  Larry lost both legs during his tour.  Larry survived as an RTO until wounded.  However, he lost his life to leukemia in 1980.  Larry was a good person, fine soldier, and good friend. Long live his memory!
