Back at the CP in Nui Tron, Captain Vitters and Van, the Kit Carson Scout, sit with the captured NVA officer and the captured AK-47, before the Medical Platoon Leader was put to work in escorting the prisoner back to FSB Hill 4-11 on the Charlie-Charlie (Command and Control helicopter). Shown here also is Sergeant Vernon Ransier, Weapons Platoon Leader, with his foot propped on the sandbag wall. Notice the 81mm mortar in the background.
