The medical platoon would sometimes combine MEDCAP missions to the village with PSYOPS (Psychological Operations) missions which were designed to convince the inhabitants that they should be on our side. Shown here are some members of the PSYOPS team performing a musical number.

After a MEDCAP mission, the village chief invited the medical platoon to his home for a meal. The medical platoon found it hard to eat, but they tried it anyway. Here is Doc Dang and others from the medical platoon eating the local fare.
