This is the area around Vinh Loc after it was cleared by the engineers.  They went up and down the rows of trees and bamboo, clearing the areas where the VC could hide.  The road to Hill 4-11 can be seen along the upper part of this picture.  Hill 4-11 is off to the right.

This is another view of the Vinh Loc area after it was cleared out.  This area is close to the Song Tra Khuc River.

A Chinook helicopter can be seen flying into the area with a sling load of 55 gallon drums of napalm.  There is smoke on the ground from a previous napalm drop.

About six or seven 55 gallon drums can be faintly seen falling from the sling load below the Chinook.
